It’s still unclear exactly what happened outside the Elements nightclub on May 6, 2013, but by the time Julian Cole, 19, arrived at a nearby police station, he was unconscious. Ultimately, he would suffer paralysis and permanent brain damage, and three officers would lose their jobs.
